  • Led full creative process as sole artist—from interviews and research to concept sketching and digital rendering
  • Engaged 50+ community members for interviews and feedback to ensure cultural accuracy and shared representation
  • This piece will be revealed November 2025 on the Go For Broke Plaza & First Street North Residences

ABOUT
  • This mural reflects the theme of cultivating community, much like tending to a garden. It speaks to the relentless effort, patience, hard work, and above all, gratitude and heart. The mural honors the memories of those who have shaped Little Tokyo, the struggles of the community, the joyous events we’ve shared, and the complexities that have brought us to where we are today—celebrating those who’ve contributed to this space.
