ABOUT:
  • Served as Matsuri Co-Coordinator for UC San Diego’s Japanese Night Market, a major event drawing over 1,500 attendees
  • Led marketing, merchandise design, website aesthetics, and cultural content for Virtual Matsuri 2021
  • Transitioned Matsuri to an online format, creating an engaging virtual cultural platform
  • Developed educational content on Japanese traditions like Bon Odori for community engagement
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
  • Managed a team of 27 people virtually to create a full rebranded website, merchandise, educational content, online activation, social media content, and campaign.
  • Co-coordinated the entire planning process virtually with 2 other coordinators located in different time zones of Japan and India.
  • Gained 1.5K in revenue and gathered over 1.5K interactions on our site within a week.
